I haven't had much time to read for fun, which is why I was excited to finally pick up Trade For Time: And Other ENF, CMNF, and Humiliation Stories by K.S. Thompson. You cannot go wrong when the artist for the book cover is Gao23 !
This book contains four short ENF stories and it did not disappoint! ENF/EUF related fiction is taboo because it is a genre that deals with nonconsensual acts, in this case forced stripping. On the more extreme end, this can lead to other humiliating situations that can become quite extreme, which may not be for everyone. That is why I enjoyed the setups Thompson used for each scenario. The setups for "Couples Retreat" and "Marcy Takes a Nosedive" were very creative in setting up a believable dilemma that forced the protagonists, Holly and Marcy to strip down. For Holly it is entering the compound of a cult and for Marcy, it is an unfortunate mishap in which the actor in her film who is supposed to pose nude gets cold feet and splits. "The Breast of Friends" is a nice follow-up story in which we learn more about how Marcy has coped from her previous embarrassing situation.
The other story, Trade for Time uses a favorite trope of mine, a police officer losing their uniform. In this case, it is a sheriff and a deputy who are caught in a hostage situation. Again, on the surface this is a scene that could be violent, but what Thompson does well is set up a dilemma in which the coercion to strip comes from the main character, Stephanie, to strip in order to buy time for backup. What I liked about this approach was that it gave more agency to Stephanie rather than the violent suspect who is holding hostages. Although all three characters are forced to strip, I like that Thompson wrote them in a way in which they had some agency in taking off their clothes in that stripping naked served a means that benefited them and not someone else watching. I think Trade for Time was my favorite of the four, mainly because I liked the slow build-up in which Sheriff Stephanie feels more pressure to strip as the hostage situation carries on. As a fan of panty-play, this story in particular does a good job incorporating EUF, particularly with the character Amy, Stephanie's deputy.
In addition to the unique setups to their enf situations, Thompson uses a lot of humor in their stories. As previously discussed, one thing that makes the enf genre unique from other humiliation fetishes is the emphasis on comedy and silliness. The dialogue for many of the characters is hilarious as they each get their chance to make witty comebacks or wisecracks. I think this is another reason why Thompson is able to humanize their characters. There are also some sexual elements in these stories, some of which Thompson utilized as a form of embarrassment, which I enjoyed. Most of the attention is given towards the stripping itself and the aftermath once the characters have lost their clothes. For those who aren't as interested in sexual content in their enf stories, these stories are perfect for you.
Overall, these are four fun ENF stories that are worth adding to your collection. I admire Thompson's creativity in setting the characters up to make the choice to sacrifice their dignity. Look for Trade for Time here on Amazon!
